An omen over this world

You know — the evil is oppressing this world —
Black shades are covering the upcoming days!
Where did we lose the friendships’ hidden pearls?
Spite and hypocrisy blind us with their blaze.

The old-known illness conquers us again —
Fist-law yells and has the mightiest word.
One is a beaten, stray dog and dies in pain!
Black-hearted are here to lead the herd!

An old man isn’t aware of how sick is the Earth.
He is having breakfast with some bread and salt.
Every morning, he is praying — from his birth,
A sun ray on his lined face suddenly falls…

Then he delves into the small field till noon
And his world is warmed and lit up by the sun.
He sits to rest. A kitten in his lap comes soon
And he is simply pleased with what he has done.

Yet the world to the abyss continues to rush!
Isn’t it like a spec of dust on God’s lapel?
Who will save us from the upcoming Earth’s crash?
Who will hear the last ring of Heaven’s bell?
