They Still lay

To my verses that I couldn't pen down

I had a chat with a passing cloud
Until I figured out a rhythm with her
I tried featuring my words pleasingly
Oh! I couldn’t fair, they just vanished!

Long in the past in my youth,
Stunned at her beauty I was pinned
As cool as the moon she appeared
I tendered my words willingly
But in a flash, I lost them all!

Then I perceived the scenery from a height
At the shimmering waters, white-laced shores
The dotting ferries on the flattering blue waves
To Phrase them in one line was my wish!

Once on a journey, I found a new friend
Our day with the Sun was full of fun
Seconds faded as swiftly as a rainbow,
Those magical glimpses pop up often
Craving for their nice spills from my pen!

Heart-throbbing scenes that still lay
Are my treasures to be found, I believe
As my sincere journal looks forward to
The verses, that I haven’t penned down!
