Through My Window

Away from the hubbub of roads,
I saw the red of the sky,
Flattering the wings of sunset,
A reflection of shine fell over me to enlighten,
my hopes to reunite.

Waiting at the door,
bide my time-its time for you,
To ring the bell and set my smile,
Tick-tick — the moment awaits you,
The lake preparing for your breeze to blow.

Will you bring cupcakes tonight?
Or just a cuddle-melting me inside,
Or will you call it our date night?
I ask the kitty sitting through the window,
The side to spice up our ignite.

The last rays of sunshine,
warmth my body felt,
asking if you would melt my heart,
Or will you rather cover yourself with me?
I see that car reaching by.

Is it you dear on the ship?
Or it’s just me imagining you to see me again,
I will wait patiently for that kiss of yours,
Or I’ll grab you for the evening to roar,
Or would I listen to those stories displayed?

An hour passed —
now the sky is Prussian blue,
The fire still warming under the chimney,
My heart still awaits that cologne —
the one I felt in the cuddles I hear.

And then did your ride stop,
I heard it drag on the door,
Finally, its you-my arms await,
Oh dear -my lips tremble-sight awaits,
Hug me slow-let the windows close.
