Wake-Up Time
Shake-off-the-nightmare time
Toasted, roasted breakfast time
Don’t-give-a-damn time
Sit-in-traffic time
Chasing-the-clock time
Falling-behind-again time.

What’s-the-rush time
Force-a-smile time
Why-even-try time
No-time-for-this time.

GOT, GOT, GOT NO TIME!

Too-much-to-do time
A-dime-for-your-thoughts time
Nickel-and-dime time
Wasting-my-energy time
Clock-ticking-down time.

Can’t-catch-my-breath time
Time-slipping-away time
Another coffee-to-cope time.

Just-get-through-the-day time
Who’s-keeping-track time
On-borrowed-moments time
Tick-tock-it’s-gone time
No-looking-back time
Close-my-eyes-rewind time.

House-burnt-to-the-ground time
Ashes-to-ashes, dust-to-dust time
No-home-no-nothing…
