Vince Died Today

Thinking of you now — writing this brings me happiness

The author (left) and Vince (right) spare with real swords forged in Europe like an apprentice with his Wild Man Yoda. This was to celebrate our new home in 1997. Photo by Mary Jane Murphy-Bowne.

Vince died today.
He was a friend of mine.
Someone who helped me through boyhood in early manhood
To be able to take care of my wife and daughters.
For a few years he was my therapist,
And one of the nicest guys I have ever known.
