The Lark

Blue — the color of things that have no color

You look at me with your eyes
Blue as the sky
Blue-like woven indigo
Blue as the midday sky.

Blue, like your turban
That surrounds your face
And shelter from the weather
Both external and internal.

The Lark shares fictional short stories and poetry
