Waves Were Waiting

Away from metropolitan crowd
I reached in a virgin beach
where waves were friendly.
They were waiting for me.
When I came closer to them
I learned they wanted to listen
to some romantic music,
that would make them dance.
I am neither a guitar
nor a singer who can
successfully create any music.

Then I noticed you,
standing alone beneath those
beautiful coconuts upon the sky.
Why alone?

How did you reach here and why?
I didn’t know exactly
what or whom you needed!

I am a poet.
I can compose songs
and make them happy.
If you’d like to be played
like a violine for my lyrics!
