When imagination becomes the truth
A scene that’s seen in a dream
A bending that’s depending
When things are not what they seem.

Words that were heard and twisted
And turned to suit the self
A dip that is a trick
Deemed to enhance another’s wealth.

People climb steeples
And tell stories that suit
Their wild imagination
A tune they won’t mute.

The power of suggestion
Said over and over again
When imagination becomes the truth
Planted for personal gain.

Stories that at the core
Are pure fabrication
Can turn into the truth
Fuelled by, wild imagination.

Most know where we go
And the truth and limitations
Not so for those feeling downtrodden.
For the easing of their frustrations.

The lies and cries of look at me
It can tear relationships apart
Better to tell the living truth
Right from the very start.

The wars that score division
The poisonous lust for power
The lies and lives lost and the cost
Time to take a long cold shower.
