Sweet dreams do light a fire under

Sweet dreams
whispering to you
in endearment
“all is within the realms
of possibility”

Sweet dreams
wave its branch
You spread your hand
to touch
with a hope
you’ll grow higher

but sweet dreams
love playing
with flame
instead of
raindrop

Sweet dreams do not
pour water above
Sweet dreams do
light a fire under

Sweet dreams
want you to burn past others
like a mad blaze

Sweet dreams
want to burn you under
inconvenience

Sweet dreams
won’t bring an ardor
or a favor

but sweet dreams
just give you an order
to dream more.
