Words Sweet or Sour — They Were Not For You
Poetry
Words of intent,
either to hurt you or please you,
of fear or cheer,
those, with whom you felt near,
dear words, they were never meant for you
Those velvety braised swords,
a knights pride,
you had thought a sheath,
hypnotic they were.
Honey coated,
weren’t they cuckoo throated?
Sautéed in butter, glossy finish, exotic words
served to you on a platter
with spoons of silver to feed you
and look how you were trapped,
taking solace in them
Man, you will have your greatest fall.
Call for humans!
Keep your lance ready
Those sword tongues with
meditated words
seasoned with enmity, has hidden revenge,
don’t you see those sweet words
how they sheath you in distress,
faked for you and you thought they were your own
Sweet, sweet words
sour sour words
Were either jellied or pickled for you
to this day
the poisonous seed of candy apple
were pre-meditated to kill your mind
will devour your existence
How ignorant you can be,
beware and caution
the words of intent hide years of avenge!
