I write so you can read
feeling the need
to dream of a world
in a book
that gives excitement
on a page
with a thrill
a passion
a wonder
of something fonder
to ponder.

Sometimes
creepy, wonderous
feelings
may spill upon you.
The words
spontaneous and trill
will captivate, motivate
and push you further
down the page
enticing you still
to read on
to the end.

Fiction books
catch your eye
words deepen emotions
of life in a story
that surreptitiously pulls
you in, secrets revealed
in plots and characters
ceremoniously raptured in thick
wording paragraphs, a leap
into adventure,
a wonder enthralled into
readers’ minds.
