I shaved in a stream today.

It was a small stream. I could jump over it and stick the landing with dry feet.

The water cold on my skin, the sun warm, the cheap blades on the woman’s razor struggled to cut through a week’s worth of scruff. On sale, I bought the lavender and rose handled blades, thinking they would cut like the black…
