At the end of every journey there’s a story. That’s the story we love and adore. While we enjoy “How To” and “Top Destination” lists as much as the next person, that’s not the kind of content we publish here.

We want that personal, intimate travel story (think lit mag meets travel). Stories about that lonely overnight train ride where an unknown future awaits. About falling in love in Buenos Aires, About the life-saving maid who brought you soup while suffering from food poisoning and you don’t even know his name. Narrative, prose, poetry, if it’s travel-related and left its influential mark on you, we want to hear about it.

But before you send in your work, here are a few basic guidelines.

How to Send Us Your Work:

If you haven’t written or submitted to us before, send us an email at thelastcallexpress@gmail.com. Introduce yourself and send us a link to your draft. And don’t worry if you haven’t submitted to other publications before, or if this is your very first Medium article (congrats!). We just want the travel stories that influence you. It doesn’t matter to us if you’ve been published yet or not.

After you’ve been accepted it’s super simple to send us future work. When your draft is polished and ready to go click on the three small dots right…
