Let’s stay where we are
and none shall find us
hold my hand
rest as easy as your fear seeps deep

scared to paint pure shades, yes?
hopeless eyes see only warm hues
so just close yours,
for never have I ever left you

you’re not that “good”, they said
tear your happiness, they did
feel what you feel, they won’t
yet, I am the devil

so, let’s stay where we are
where their arms can’t reach
just hold me close
and I’ll forever hold you, dear.
