“Are you okay?” I asked. It saddened me as I looked intently at her eyes. They were gloomy. The ocean blue eyes I used to know for years changed.

Her eyes used to shine brightly, even in the darkest days of her life. It used to be the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my life. But for some reason, it changed along with her. She has changed.

“Are you okay?” she asked me the same question.

I blinked twice as I realized that I was only looking at my reflection.

I forgot. That woman died a long time ago. I died a long time ago.
