It’s no secret, Rocketbook thrives on working with real people. We build our products based on user input and we launch products through Kickstarter to let customers join the innovation process. Sometimes, though, it’s good to interact with people outside the Rocketbook community.

We hope sharing these events with you brings you some joy and maybe inspires you to go out and make a difference in your community, wherever that might be!

Volunteer Events

Charles Rives Esplanade

Staying local to Boston during the summer of 2020, we got together to clean up the Charles Rives Esplanade. We’ve done this event in past years and always enjoy it as it doubles as a workout for the day.

Look at that grass, so green, so free of weeds.

Greater Boston Food Bank

More recently, we gathered at the Greater Boston Food Bank to sort, fill, and load up boxes of food for families and individuals in need during the holiday season. We were basically a human assembly line, which again seemed to double as a workout for the day.

The broken arm did not happen during this event, thankfully.

Hearth Boston

Most recently, the crew got together to put our artistry and poetry skills to the test. In an event for Hearth Boston, we wrote Valentine’s Day cards for unhoused senior citizens who could benefit from some extra love.

As a team, we wrote 228 Valentine’s Day cards with lots of love and lots of puns.

Product Donation

We make cool products, so why not share that with those who could benefit from using cool products that might not otherwise have access to them? Nonprofits, schools, and other organizations that align with our company values of sustainability, education, and equity can apply for a product donation. To learn more, email communityinvolvement@getrocketbook.com.

Here’s some cards we made for Cradles to Crayons, an organization that distributes clothing to kids in need during the winter. (Yes, those are Cloud Cards!)

Creative Alliance

In our first year being part of the BIC family, we made our best effort to use the resources at our disposal to make a positive impact. We nominated a non-profit organization of our choice (as voted on by Rocketbook employees) and were selected by BIC to have all our donations matched for the next three years. Our selection, Creative Alliance, is a multicultural hub for inclusive initiatives, providing quality facilities for free bilingual workshops, programs, and events for all ages and background.

Thank You

We want to give a big thank you to Emily, our Brand Community Manager, has organized and hosted many of these events and donations. Plus, we want to give a big shoutout to any employees who have given up their time to help make these events a success. If you have any organizations you care about or have experience working with, feel free to send us suggestions at communityinvolvement@getrocketbook.com.
