Company Book Library at LeadIQ

Company Book Library is not a typical perk in most startup companies. Why did we choose to introduce a Company Book Library for LeadIQ?
Building the right team is one of the biggest challenges that most startups find. Especially when we have such a small team, every single team member is important and needs to fill in some hole the team has. We have to hire the right person who has the necessary skills, or hire the person who can rise up to the challenge and acquire those skills.
We are fortunate that we have found team members who are self-motivated learners. Many joined the company in the first place for the chance to do something cutting edge and there’s generally a buzz of research and discussion around the best tools and practices.
To facilitate this enthusiasm, we decided to create a company book library. Unlike normal libraries, in this library you’re allowed hot beverages. It’s an electronic book library where LeadIQ will buy books for employees who are interested to up-skill in some area related to our technologies or product.
The team is very excited about this and ideas and links to resources immediately started rolling into the chat rooms. We are looking to do more initiatives like this to help strengthen our team culture and improve our skills.
