America Needs Air Traffic Controllers Who Aren’t Afraid of Bats!

John Oliver is so right. Houston, we have a problem! Everyone agrees.
It’s just like President Donny to compare an almost airplane disaster to a Donny fluke golfing event? How many air traffic controllers did he fire? How many airports are understaffed? And how stressed out are the ones who remain?
There’s a mandatory retirement age of 56. Doesn’t that sound pretty good? How many actually make it to that age?
The outdated equipment. 1950s technology is all the rage at airports. Windows 95? Paper strips and floppy disks! What’s a floppy disk? It’s that small square-looking plastic thing that goes into the slots. No! Not the toaster!
They’re getting replacement parts from eBay. Why is it a problem not to have equipment that works?
But Transportation Secretary Duffy said they’re getting a brand-new system! We want details! How much will that cost? And when? Because there are no quick fixes.
