That is is happening at all is moot at this point, but otherwise the ChuckTodds and Lawrence O’Donnell’s and Peter Baker’s and Rachel and Keith and the rest on Beltway Island would actually have to deal with The Other Guy’s crap and the fact that 53% of Americans see Orange Mao as America’s dictator-in-waiting and even George Clooney has weighed in on this just makes it more absurd than it already is, we’re pinning our hopes on a press conference.

That we have gone from “If I’ve lost Cronkite, I’ve lost middle America,” to “If Clooney wants him to drop out, we’re doomed,” is absurd on it’s face and laughable to those of us who remember 1968 and insulting to those of us who care about what happens to our country and the world going forward.
