Republicans vs Democrats
Is The Democratic Party Going to the Hogg?
Rudderless left, and there’s only one on the right that matters
We had the “No Kings in America” protests. AOC, aka Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Sen. Bernie Sanders continue their Fighting Oligarchy tour. Their tour is resonating. They drew crowds in Iowa. IOWA! There seems to be energy churning on the left.
But Democrats have no clear leader. No, not you, Joe Biden! Their message, well, it could be labeled as all over the place.
Dems pride themselves as ideologically diverse with a huge tent.
Does the Party need a rebranding? Is the new anger on the left a challenge for Democrats or a movement they can get behind? Not talking about the economy and the tariff fight.
Democratic National Committee party chairman, Ken Martin, doesn’t want the vice chair, David Hogg, to spend money in Democratic primaries. They want him to stay neutral. Martin declared, “No D.N.C. officer should ever attempt to influence the outcome of a primary.”
He said party neutrality is crucial to maintaining the confidence of voters. And how did that work out? Sanders vs Hillary? And Donny won the general.
