It’s the Little Things, Part II
But I think I understand where the problems are coming from now
I talked in Part I about my heating/cooling system going crazy and overheating my house. I also talked about my new car looking like an alien space craft whose language I don’t understand. But I have discovered I’m not alone.
My cousin Sue just bought a Mercedes Benz and has had to have the help of both her sons and the owner’s manual to try to figure out how to make it work. (We, too, would use the owner’s manual, but we didn’t get one.)
My cousin Beth had something mechanical suddenly go wrong with her car, and her computer lost sound out of the blue. She and her husband tried everything; nothing worked. They had just decided to take it to a computer store to have it checked out when — amazingly, for no reason — the sound came back. They did have to pay to have the car fixed.
It sounds like gremlins to me — those little imps that get into mechanical things and screw them up for no reason at all.
Then I read about all the drones flying around that no one can explain, and the answer hit me.
