President Donny Wants to Rename a United States Naval Ship

President Donny launched another attack on the Navy. Kicking people out wasn’t good enough.

In an unsurprising move, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth ordered the Navy to remove the name of a John Lewis-class “oiler.” The USS Harvey Milk is a ship that fuels other ships. It’s a moving gas station.

Milk was a San Francisco City-County supervisor and gay rights activist. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. But he was assassinated in 1978 while fighting for his and many other people’s right to exist.

The ship was named in his honor in 2016.

And the fact that Hegseth made this announcement at the beginning of Pride Month? Sidenote–Sen. Ted Cruz wants June to be “Life Month” instead.
