Donny’s inauguration is looming. The threats he and his oligarch cabinet are lobbing are frightening. As well as the Republican-controlled Congress.

Those of us on Medicaid? We’re sure we will lose our healthcare. Republican cuts. It’s just a matter of when. We won’t be able to afford our medications. Doctors’ visits? We won’t be able to keep that up either.

Get ready emergency rooms!

Republicans also want work requirements. It’s a good idea if you can find a job. Is the government offering Medicaid recipients employment? Because some people can’t find jobs.

What about the people who physically can’t work? How many can stand for six to eight hours working at Walmart?

Do work requirements work?

Good question. Some people don’t think so. It’s all politics!

In Ohio and elsewhere, work requirements have neither increased access to insurance nor led people into the workforce. Still, legislators are pushing them, despite how expensive and complicated it will be to verify the employment status of tens of thousands of people–Policy Matters Ohio

Right wing politics are destroying democracy in America. If we want freedom, we must think and vote blue.
