Trump Is Selling Trashy $400 Sneakers To Pay for His Legal Fees

In the latest installment of “I Can’t Believe It’s Not Satire,” failed former President Donald Trump is now peddling trashy dollar-store sneakers in a desperate attempt to avoid bankruptcy.
During a sneaker conference in Philadelphia, Trump unveiled his new line of Never Surrender High-Top sneakers, currently selling for $399 a pair. The footwear is golden yellow, features an American flag, and is decorated with a capital T on the sides.
“This is something I’ve been talking about for 12 years, and I think it’s going to be a big success,” Trump remarked during the event. The crowd responded to him with a mix of cheers and boos.
Of course, the sneaker debut came just a day after a New York judge found Trump liable for business fraud, ordering him to pay $355 million in damages and barring him from doing business in the state for at least the next three years.
If I had to guess, this bizarre marketing gimmick is another one of his sad attempts to manipulate his base into recouping the cost of his legal fees.
