A Netflix original documentary that has quickly gained global attention since airing on Jan 10,2023. Quickly becoming one of Netflixs top shows.

The documentary details a homeless mans quick rise to fame. A man who came to be known as, the hatchet wielding hitchhiker, or “Kai Lawrence” as he prefers to be called.

Born Kaleb McGillvary, Kai quickly rose to stardom following a viral video chronolizing his heroic attempt to stop what he thought was a man that had just murdered another man. When the assailant turned his sights on a young woman that was there Kai, who had been picked up by the violent offender, surprised the man from behind , weilding a hatchet he had for personal defense. His heroic actions saved the would be victim by “Hitting him in the back of the head” with the hatchet.
