Life is too short to waste a second on something that is not meaningful. That is why we write, don’t we? Because we have something to say. And as we almost burst with things to say, it’s nice to have a prompt, to start you off. To inspire you to write whatever you would have otherwise also written, but perhaps not in this setting, not in this format.

Write to change the world.

Write to make a difference.

Because even if you just write because you like to, you do.

This Week’s Prompt

The prompt this week is:

“A handwritten letter”

Guidelines for Submission

The general guidelines can be found here.

Editors of The Library of Things will have full discretion about which stories to accept and which not. We will be looking for stories to have something to say, that move the reader, that change the world (or at least mine, or have the potential to).

Looking forward to your submissions! Good luck, be inspired!
