Mutual respect is something people need to learn these days. Where is all the respect? When things don’t go your way, people get angry and leave you alone, empty. That is what I have seen so many times, I was there, I felt it.

Mutual respect is respect from you towards me, and from me towards you. It doesn't matter how far we disagree on topics, but when you show respect for the disagreements and their arguments, you show the wonderful human being you are. You will get it back eventually.

Mutual meaning

According to the Cambridge Dictionary mutual means:

Feeling the same emotion, or doing the same thing to or for each other

Used to describe something that is done or felt by all or both people in a group

In other words: mutual is that you and your friend share something together. Such as sharing life together, making music together, having the same ideas about a certain topic.

When I had a concert with my orchestra, we shared the same feeling about how the concert went.

Respect meaning

According to the Cambridge Dictionary respect means:

Admiration felt or shown for someone or something that you believe has good ideas or qualities
