I eat oatmeal every morning. It a fresh start of the day for me, at least, it is that I have sort of a routine to start my day with.

When there was a time where there was no option to eat something else than oatmeal, oatmeal was the only thing families started their morning with. Children didn’t complain about what to eat in the morning. They just got it whatever there was, or had been made by their parents.

It is good for your health?

The fiber helps to slow down the food processing, in your stomach and small intestine. It absorbs in ways that will promote fullness and mellow the body’s insulin response.

It is concerning that people who are allergic to gluten, will find some gluten in oats, while they are gluten-free naturally. That is because of the cross-contamination with other grains.
