I saw today together
In a neighboring park,
An old man and an old woman
Curious, I looked!
He was holding a net
And in the other, her hand,
They stopped to smell
Flowers from the alleys!
He let go of her hand for a moment
To pick a snowball,
Then the old woman smiled
Looking tenderly at him!
The old woman chuckled softly
As he did in his youth,
He lovingly took her hand
Thanking him gently!

Together they crossed,
