I got removed from the Medium Partner Program after publishing 200 articles, which is upsetting because I was enjoying this platform.

I'm not sure of the reason—still waiting to hear from them—but I think it was for using AI. 🤔 But I’m not even mad at Medium. Here is my 10th argument out of 20 that I've written all myself, no AI:

1. "You can use AI tools," it says, "but not spam."
2. Have you been penalized for cheating?
3. I did not make AI and charge people a monthly fee.
4. AI was my assistant, not writing my...
5. I think the whole AI thing is crazy. All these companies are creating a tool, charging us to use it, but you can’t use it anywhere.
6. It was a tool for people to use, like myself, who are dyslexic—just like Grammarly.
7. It gave great people, who probably had traumatic issues growing up and missed school, a voice.
8. My content is the shit. 👌 Blowing my own trumpet, lol.
9. AI couldn’t create the content I make without great, lengthy prompts, which takes time and skill to master.
10. I think the scam is AI charging people to use tools you’re not allowed to use! lol. Only to have to humanize your work? Scooby (in my Shaggy voice).

That’s my little Rasta Man rant over.

I would like to know what others think. Feedback would be great about this.

I’m not knocking Medium because I love this platform. Ain’t gonna lie, just because I’ve been kicked from it and not making anything on here, it’s still a great platform—no hate! But it does kill momentum and motivation from being creative and expressing myself. I felt my content was doing well. I was engaging, and I was hopefully helping my subscribers with my expertise. Why wait until my 200th article to revoke me? Not every article I wrote, like this one you’re reading now, was made using AI. I know you can tell, lol.

It feels like I’m just about to take a shot in football (aka soccer), then they moved the goal post, and then the ball goes wide and the crowd starts 👎 booing for low-quality content! (Scooby, in my Shaggy voice lol). Really, oh well, my bad. They're on a revoke-me mission, didn’t even realize I violated the rules. I do think they could have given a warning, a hint, a yellow card or something to deduct points from me, like in boxing. Give me a chance to redeem and repent before giving me the red revoked card lol. You know I'll be like, "I'm sorry, I didn’t know. Have mercy 🙏. Please don’t throw me to the lions; I can change. I’ll write everything by hand on here, but it probably won’t be at the same level as previous articles... lol."

Not only that, I didn’t do anything because my Stripe account was acting up, also, but it’s all good. I'm still laughing, and I’m waiting on my appeal to see what happens. 😅 🙃 Wish 🤞 me luck. So please, leave comments, negative or positive. I like honest opinions because I’m sure others may experience similar experiences, and if you're new to Medium.com, take a leaf out of my book so you don’t make the same mistakes I made. Because this is your yellow card, me making this post for you newbies for free. That I wish I had read before I started. Just know they are selling you AI tools everywhere—that’s great—but remember, you can’t use it anywhere. Anyway, so in my humble opinion, it’s a bit of an oxymoron.

Why even create AI tools in the first place? The great news is I can still use it for my website, I guess, and make good-quality content, well thought out and researched and applied. Or use AI plagiarism tools, which is just crazy. 🤪 I think it should be: you can’t use them, then they shouldn’t be able to sell them. You can have a gun but don’t shoot. You can buy a car that’s got 160mph but drive at 70mph or you will be arrested lol. Why make it go faster, you know why—it was all for the love of the dough. 😆 Imagine how much people who don’t give a damn who wrote the content, as long as it's good content, that will pay Medium money for good, informative content. They weren’t complaining. My stats were on the up, so Medium will still make money from people reading my work assisted by AI, the same way the cops will make money from people speeding. We live in strange times where nothing makes sense.

Anyhow, I've enjoyed my time here and have readsome fantastic articles, engaged with some great people. Taking my Medium journey seriously was a bit disheartening, but I'm still in good spirits. I'm not bitter; I'm smiling still. I hope you can comprehend my authentic message. This is a human you can tell, right? It's probably got dyslexia written all over it, but I gave it a go anyway. Hopefully, it was more engaging and relatable.

And with that being said, one love ❤️ one heart ❤️ gives thanks and praise to the Lord, and it will be alright. 👍 Thanks for reading my little Rasta Man Rant, and I hope you have a great day. P.S. Remember, I’m still posting on Rastar13.com, my personal blog, and also my YouTube channel and Magic1aitools.com where you can find hundreds of AI tools you can use for practically anything—image animation, website building, and many more case studies. They are curated, some free, some paid. Also, subscribe to my channel. I would appreciate it; there are loads of great videos there. Also, check out this here:
