Mass Production Kickoff

The Light Phone mass production was kicked off in November 2016. It is produced in Foxconn’s Yantai factory in northern China on the coast. Our small Light team has worked very closely with the engineers and operators over the past 15 months to design the Light Phone from scratch.

These are the faces of the people behind our products because they are just that, people. They share the same hopes, fears, dreams, loves, and emotional rollercoasters as us of course. We cannot forget the people behind the electronics that we rapidly consume and dispose of. We always want new, and we want it for free. Consumerism has led us to believe that these unrealistically low prices are our right. This is an illusion.
