Who wants to listen to two women banter for hours on end about horrific murders and serial killers? It turns out, lots of people do, and most of them are women. For me, listening to “My Favorite Murder,” “Casefile,” “Atlanta Monster” and “Dirty John” revealed an awful truth about the world that I already knew: The world is a scary, violent place. So why do so many women enjoy media that centers around it?
