Being passionate about work is good, but stressing too much about it is not. While it’s important to treat work with the utmost respect, it’s equally important to ensure that your life doesn’t revolve around it.

Here are twelve signs that you’re a workaholic.

1. You always reach work before time and leave late.

2. You eat lunch while working on something. You hate wasting time and believe that lunch breaks will lead to a decline in your productivity.

3. You don’t take breaks at all. Once you’re at the office, you sit immovably on your chair. Only meetings and conferences get you on the move.

4. You don’t spend much time speaking to your colleagues. You ignore everyone around you and keep working to make the most of your work hours.

5. You don’t engage in any recreational activity while working. No listening to music, no flipping through the pages of a magazine, just non-stop work.

6. You micromanage everyone. You think keeping a constant watch over everyone’s work will help the overall productivity remain high.

7. You’re always the first one to start working on group projects. And you get a good headstart before the first review meeting.

8. You don’t pay attention to your personal life and ignore all your responsibilities at home. It’s like you have no life outside of work.

9. You keep thinking about work even at home.

10. You’re never satisfied with your performance. You always feel like there’s more to do and better ways to do it.

11. You barely, if ever, take a leave of absence from work. Whether it’s the flu, bad weather or a long overdue vacation, you always show up at work.

12. You never say ‘no’ to work. You do whatever your boss asks you to, even if it sounds next to impossible.
