Try doing something different.

When you can’t concentrate on work, life or anything, there’s usually a reason. Probe deep within yourself to see what that reason is.
1. Change tack.
Often when we feel bored and lethargic, it is because we keep doing the same boring things over and over again. Try doing something different. It will freshen things up.
2. Treat yourself.
Give yourself a nice treat every now and then. It will shake up the lethargy, make a nice surprise for you, and bring back your concentration.
3. Take the first step.
Often what stops us is just the idea of doing something. Taking the first step is hard; once you’re started, it’s easy to keep going.
4. Read.
Reading something interesting and entertaining will take your mind off the boring task at hand and you can come back to your task refreshed and feeling better.
5. Clear your table.
Organizing and arranging things sometimes gives us that much needed break and kick starts things again.
6. Cut out distractions.
What is distracting you? Find out what your distractions are and keep yourself away from them. That’s the best way of staying focused.
7. Listen to music.
Good, soothing music has a way of gathering focus and attention like nothing else does. If other things don’t work, try some music, maybe?
8. Go with it.
Sometimes your inattentiveness has a reason. Sometimes it’s just a way of telling your body that you have had enough. Go with it. Just do something else, or do nothing at all, that’s also fine!
9. Listen to your heart.
If you really can’t concentrate on work or anything in life, you might be in love. Take a step back and reconsider? Are you? Is that the reason for your inattentiveness?
If your lack of concentration and focus is indeed real, and not love-induced, try using these tips to get rid of it. If they don’t help, the underlying cause could be medical.
