How You Should Live Your 20’s For Success In The Future

20s are the years you are facing the world, learning to live life on your own — depending on none.
Most of us spend our 20s in education, experimenting with relationships and kick-starting a career — things that will impact our whole life ahead. Well, these are years you need to do things wisely. Believe it or not, when you are young you can do things you can’t do when you are older, so grab hold of it.
If you think you are too young to do the things you want to? Here’s what you must know: Bill Gates co-founded Microsoft when he was 20. John Keats penned “Ode on a Grecian Urn,” one of the greatest odes in the English language, at the age of 23.
So stop putting yourself in a box, and make your 20s the best years of your life.
Acknowledge your Skills
In your 20s, identify yourself. Identifying will make you pick the things you are capable of doing. When you know what you are good at, you will do the best.
Get out of your Comfort Zone
“Out of the comfort zone” means you are engaging with the uncomfortable — literally. Only when you do it, you will find that the more you get out of your comfort zone the more you will find ways to improve your professional and personal life. If not in the 20’s you will never experience the uncomfortable zone.
Give your best in Education and Career
Your early 20’s would be your education phase, and your late 20’s would be the career phase. Wherever you are at this point, make sure to give your best. Colleges today hold a wide range of opportunities through which you can identify your skills. Even in your career, these are fresh years in which you can give your best. As you grow older, you will have more responsibilities and you will not be able to sacrifice all your energy and time.
Don’t settle for too less
Always aim for higher. Stop restricting yourself to the lesser things of life. You might be disheartened from time to time, but if you chose to settle for too less, you will always be stuck in one place.
Make Friends Wisely
The people around you can make a huge difference in your life. Choosing the wrong friends can influence you negatively — they can dispose your dreams, change the way you think, and stop you from being successful. Good friends will only encourage you, and bring out the best in you. Hence, be smart when you make friends.
Time and Money Management
Learn to manage time and money when you are young. You can see the benefits as you grow older. Managing money when you have more will keep you secure even when you hit financial insecurity.
Time is money. If you think you are too busy, you have to cut down on all things that are not useful. Time management when you are young will lead to an organised and planned life.
“We Read to Know We Are Not Alone “— C.S Lewis
Reading will expand your knowledge. It will make you aware of the world around you. And, like this popular quote says, you will know you are not alone to face the world.
Great men have failed many times. Failures lead to a stronger, and smarter person. Becoming comfortable with failure will enable you to take more risks. If you can handle it the first couple of times, they will not threaten you in the future.
