What is The Lions We Are? I’m sure if you asked five people involved you’d get five different answers. The underlying theme would be community. Here’s how Francis described it in 30 seconds or less:

We know that Francis is finishing his album, we have a monthly potluck, and other events planned through July but we don’t know what’s going to happen with The Lions We Are. It’s a process we feel that we want to and should follow at this point in our lives. If it’s too loose and we move onto something else in a year we have a mixtape, an album, and a network of new people because of it.

Wasting Time — Kids These Days ft. Chance The Rapper

Kids These Days no longer exist, which is a shame because the music they made was not only great but never limited itself to a genre or a particular sound. In the end it was too wild for it’s own good and the group got frustrated with each other and called it. Not all teams work and that’s okay because people are complicated and relationships are hard.

Friends — Francis and the Lights ft. Bon Iver and Kanye West
