New exciting features towards dynamic and seamless Kubernetes multi-cluster topologies.

  • Improved network fabric observability. Continuously monitor the cross-cluster interconnections, providing feedback about the overall status and possible issues. Additionally, a set of metrics is exposed in the Prometheus format and complemented by a dedicated Grafana dashboard, which graphically summarizes the most relevant information.
  • Enhanced workload scheduling on remote clusters. Benefit from anti-affinity constraint presets to enable proper spreading of offloaded pods, easily enforcing appropriate high-availability constraints.
  • Advanced enforcement of shared resources. An opt-in feature to enforce offerer-side that offloaded workloads do not use more resources than those negotiated at peering time. Like resource quotas, but for multi-cluster scenarios, bringing additional guarantees in untrusted environments.
  • A huge variety of minor improvements and quality-of-life fixes. The hard work to tune the different gears and ensure everything works smoothly, improving the overall user experience and providing the information exactly where you expect it to be.
