We are thrilled to announce the latest release of our product, packed with exciting new features.

The release v0.9 showcases the hard work and dedication of our talented contributors. Let’s dive into the details of what has changed in this release.

  • Virtual Node: the introduction of the capability to create Virtual Nodes in a declarative manner. This new feature marks a pivotal advancement in Liqo’s functionality, allowing users to seamlessly generate VirtualNodes through declarative processes.
With this innovation, Liqo takes a substantial stride forward in bolstering its support for handling temporary disruptions in peered clusters and instances of network unavailability.
  • Enhancing Multicluster Reliability: service continuity ensures robustness in the event of cluster unavailability. Remote pods and services resiliency, powered by ShadowPods and ShadowEndpointSlices, guarantees seamless operation during connectivity loss. The architecture maintains active readiness checks and utilizes custom resources for uninterrupted service, making Liqo a resilient multicluster solution.

We are grateful to our dedicated contributors for their commitment to the project. Stay tuned for more updates and don’t forget to check out the detailed release notes for a deeper understanding of the changes.
