We recently published a new article on the official CNCF Blog about the potentials opened by generalized multi-cluster topologies and comparing different approaches with Liqo.

As you know, the main idea behind Liqo is to make your cluster bigger by establishing dynamic “peering” with other clusters. Such extensibility is particularly interesting for cloud-based multi-cluster topologies (i.e., hybrid cloud bursting) but can open interesting edge-oriented use-cases (i.e., we recently added the support for the ARM platform).

This article addresses the differences among different existing approaches to multi-cluster (with comparison matrices). It explains why we think that the cluster peering provided by Liqo is really useful for building multi-cluster topologies.

We are eager to know your thoughts, comments, or open questions about multi-cluster and Liqo in particular.
