Granted this is a few days late but Mother Nature decided to bestow a cold upon me so I haven’t been in much of a headspace for proper writing.

Anyway!

First and foremost, Happy Pride Month🌈 to all my fellow queerbies, theybies, and the like. When certain parts of society like to paint us as the villains, let our rainbows shine even brighter.

As always, LGBTQIA+ stories are welcome and encouraged. Queer history, your own story, coming out, the good the bad, and the ugly. Whatever picture you’d like to paint, I am all ears.

It is not a very easy existence being queer. Depending on your family, beliefs, and cultures, it can be complicated to navigate the complexities of gender until you find your way, in whatever form that takes.

Regardless of where you come from or what you believe, it is never a bad thing to be exactly who you are.

In my never-ending journey to become more comfortable with my own vulnerability, I decided to make it this month's theme. Whether it takes the shape of poetry, non-fiction, or fiction, that is all up to you.

Be sure to check out publication guidelines here if you need a refresher.
