Credit Karma profile-

Credit Karma is a FREE to use platform to track, manage and build your credit score with their FREE to use tools. Credit Karma offers truly FREE credit scores and reports. (and it’s true!)

In this post I will be walking you through everything you need to know to better understand how Credit Karma works. You may have seen ads or other personal finance buffs talking about Credit Karma, but do you really know how to use the platform?

You won’t even need to use your credit card.

Credit Karma will offer you a FREE score with virtually no strings attached. However, you do get offers from the platform to sign up for new cards, new loans and even access to their savings account!

You’ll get access to your reports from Transunion and Equifax.

While Credit Karma gives very little information in the Equifax report and does allow for a full report of Transunion, it is best to use annualcreditreport.com to gain access to your full report from all 3 reporting agencies.

No ads needed.

Well, not the dumb ones you see from Facebook anyway.

Credit Karma uses your financial data to serve you with targeted ads and offers from their customers to offer you products that are specific to your financial profile. These ads are mostly just for products you can use and are very minimal.

I am a user of Credit Karma and I barely get bombarded with ads.

That said, Credit Karma is like Facebook in that it sells your data.

In my bias opinion yes, but we should dig deeper to know if it is even right for you.

You may have heard of Credit Sesame, and how it works, but they have a paid service.

Your credit score plays a major role in your financial well being and the importance of knowing your score is paramount to your financial plan and path.

With Credit Karma, while they use your data to serve you with tailored products, they do however provide you with valuable insights and knowledge to track your data, and this is all available Free and not on a trial basis, Free forever.

If you are looking to use a Credit Tracking service and do not want to pay a fee to access your scores, Credit Karma is right for you.

Credit Karma will offer you your score in a user friendly, lightweight and navigable application or website that is fast and easy to use.

But did you know Credit Karma will show you a graph of you score over time? You can view this in a 3-month, 6 month or yearly chart.

Various credit card offers, that are matched to your credit profile.

An easy to understand, credit report and how each factor affects your score.

Credit simulation tools to help you see what you can do to fix your score.

Weekly updates to your report.

Credit Karma savings account.

If you are looking for a credit score tracking app that is easy to use and offers you tools to help build your credit and financial future, Credit Karma is the one for you. You can sign up using the link here.
