It took me great courage to start writing this story, as I found myself taking deep sighs just after typing the title and subtitle.

I was unsure about writing for The Live. Love. Laugh. Pub’s January Prompt: ‘New Year, New Me’, because nothing felt new — until it did.

It did in a way it shouldn’t have, but oh, am I happy with the outcome. Guess I am. Outcome? Yes. Happy? Not quite.

Shall we start then?

So many of you anticipated my 2025 wedding as I created a lot of hype and shared my wedding preparation journey on Medium.

I never exposed the dates because we wanted to officially announce them to everyone, including our relatives.

For months, we had been shopping, carefully planning, shortlisting vendors, and spend loads of our money. We started our wedding dance performance preparations too.

Both of us joined a wellness clinic to work on our bodies and appearance.

But when is the wedding?
