Have you ever heard the Earth breathe?

- Kate Chopin

Have you heard the Earth breathe?
Have you heard it sigh?
Have you heard its heartbeat?
Have you heard it cry?

Why don’t you protect it?
Why don’t you do what’s right?
Why not stop destroying
Everything in sight?

So much life - now extinct
That once walked on this land.
Act now, it’s not too late,
But we must take a stand.

Who else will save the world
Before all life’s destroyed?
Restore it to how it was
The Earth we once enjoyed?

Stop all the polluting,
Waste dumping in the sea,
Worsening the climate.
RESPONSIBILITY!

Have you heard the Earth breathe?
Have you heard it sigh?
Have you heard its heartbeat?
Have you heard it
