Background:
I have challenged myself to write seven fictional motivational short stories every day using my own morals and principles in life, along with some excerpts from my own journey.
I choose to be Aisha from a parallel universe to deliver my message to you! :)

Aisha sat on her balcony; her fingers curled around a warm cup of chai (Indian spiced tea). The sky was a soft shade of orange.

Despite the calmness around, inside her mind, a storm raged.

“Why does it always have to be this way?” she sighed, staring into the distance.

She loved her fiancé, Aarav, deeply. He understood her in ways she never thought possible. And she loved her family just as much — her parents, her siblings, the people who had shaped her world.

But why did it always feel like she was standing in the middle, stretched thin, trying to make everyone happy?

She realized that she struggled to keep a balance because she felt unhappy when things didn’t go her way, and at the same time, her family and fiancé seemed happier when she behaved the way they expected her to.
