I Won $59 With a Contest on Medium
An Unbelievable Triumph Because Hard Work Pays Off, But the True Winner is Someone Else.
If you don’t know, Bin Jiang organised this writing contest on Medium, with potentially 3 winners, who’d receive cash prizes as part of his Medium earnings for April.
The idea was to adhere to his contest rules for one week (April 24–29, 2023), which included the condition that a single person cannot win two positions. Winners would be declared based on the following rule:
1st Place: Most # of the comments received from each unique reader on the combined posts.
2nd Place: Most # people clapped on the combined posts.
3rd Place: Most # of claps received on the combined posts.
