Here’s Why You Should or Should Not Give It a Chance
No one would tell you otherwise: love is difficult. It is difficult because it is not as straightforward happy as we expect it to be. Rather, it is complicated and full of tantrums.
Love requires efforts from both sides.
You get uncalled-for responsibilities. You need to adjust and fit someone into your lifestyle and habits. You need to keep someone happy.
Love isn’t as easy as choosing someone and leading a life; you require to regularly show your love to them.
If you suddenly have a mood swing, you do not have the option to isolate yourself from the world without notice. You are held accountable for your behavioural changes. At the very least, you need to keep them informed.
You are also responsible to make the world a better place for the other person, especially in their difficult times.
Now, if you ask me, isn’t it too much to do all this all the time? Actually, it’s the least you can do for the person you love.
This is love.
Too much. And is it worth it?
Isn’t it beautiful to always have someone by your side, no matter what phase of life you are in? And by this, I mean a happy, loving relationship, not if your partner isn’t loving.
When you don’t even have to tell the other person what is going on and they shoot an “Are you fine?” just when you need it — nothing feels more relieving. You cry because you know someone is there to make you smile.
A healthy love, one that I am talking about, will keep you happy, be your support, and be your backbone.
That’s what make them yours. ❤️
And when you are in such love, all the efforts seem effortless because you willingly want to do them.
Yes, love is difficult. It won’t even be green all the time. There will be ups and downs, fights and dilemmas, but sometimes, a will to stay is all that is required to keep it going. If not, it breaks; love is fragile.
It takes years and heartbreaks to find the right one, and even circumstances can make the right one stay for just a while, but every minute of it is worth it.
Yes, love is difficult, but more than that, it is worth it: worth a chance, worth every hurdle, worth every risk.
