Darkness shrouds the room

Eerie sensations seeping in

The rain drops outside dripping

It’s quite calm but triggering

The body is warm amidst the cold

weather

Clothes off, dissecting, spilling

Heartbeat thumping

Is it peace or trouble

Hard to decide, all just seem to fumble

Feets cringed out of hobbles

A writer’s life filled with shallows

Instilling knowledge to benefit many

He still craves self-gratitude

Chaos-minded being, internally

Clouding himself with peace externally

The rain still drips, pah-pah

His heart has reduced its pace

But his thoughts continue to race.
