Background:
This story is part of my 30-Day Medium Challenge, where I’ve committed to posting one journal-style entry every day from May 1 to May 30, 2025. These journal entries are my way of tracking each day with intention, reflection, and gratitude.

[May 8, 2025]

Morning

Last night, I slept at 5:30 AM — practically morning — because I couldn’t sleep earlier. I felt restless and had a headache.

I was supposed to go to the office today, but the headache refused to go away. Despite trying to make myself feel better, it didn’t work. So, I decided to work from home and informed my team.

I woke up at 12 PM, attended a meeting, and had a vegetable oats chilla (pancake) with green chutney for breakfast before starting my office work.

Afternoon

Around 2:30 PM, I took a break from work and wrote some stories in drafts on Medium.

Since I had a late breakfast, I also had a late lunch — two chapatis with tori (sponge gourd) and yellow dal (lentil). To satisfy my sweet tooth, I had a honey-based banana ice cream.
