The Simple Joys of Life
Anything interesting can make life happy
It was a very cool evening today. I decided that it was time to go for a walk. The clouds were dark and it was sure to rain but not yet. I stepped out.
I saw many people taking advantage of the lovely weather and enjoying an evening walk. Walking across makes me happy to see friends walking and chatting together. I also notice some couples chatting and some arguing. I pass by waving a hand and they wave back at me.
I slowly realize that my phone’s protective film or the screen guard is getting chipped so I decide to walk to the market. I just have to cross the road and there I am.
I realize it is Friday and there is a crowd. People are already waiting for the weekend.
There are a lot of beggars. A little beggar girl wanted me to buy her something to eat. Do you know what she asked for?
“Get me a chocolate!” She demanded from me. I could see the confidence of the kid. She was sure that I would get her one. I wanted to see the fun if I disappointed her. However, I did not have the heart to do so. She was a small kid.
Just for my pleasure, how could I say no to her? I was getting a big chocolate but the kid wanted only a small one.
