When Half Your Story Makes It to the Editor… Literally!
My Life as a Sleepy Writer

Balancing a full-time job and daily writing feels no less than juggling knives… blindfolded. After having my dinner everyday, I usually grab my phone to type—because it’s faster.
Within 13 minutes, my eyelids start to betray me. By the time I finish a draft, I’m too groggy to check if it even makes sense.
As soon as the morning hits, I get ready for work, often realizing I forgot to proofread or add a “subscribe” section.
Once, I submitted a story only to find it rejected. Later I realised, I had sent only half the piece.
Well, my expertise wasn’t done there yet. After fixing it, I accidentally pasted lines twice. The poor editor probably aged a year editing my mess.
Then there’s the time I submitted to the wrong publication. Classic me !
Between work breaks and file juggling, my drafts often look like Frankenstein’s monster.
As if, they were stitched together and slightly horrifying.
